Glowbug TH Series is a range of reversible Thermochromic pigments that change from a coloured to colourless state when certain temperatures are reached, and then revert back to being coloured once the temperature is reduced again. This change occurs between a temperature ‘band’ of a few degrees in each case, and we offer several different temperature ranges depending on the desired application.
Unlike many other Thermochromes, TH Series are available in fine particle pigment form (average 7µ), and can be dispersed into coatings, inks and plastics (up to 200°C) with ease. They are compatible in water and mild solvent systems, but care should be taken where strong, polar solvents are present.
